Elliott Farrell
Founder, CEO and President
Elliott Farrell is the founder, CEO & President of Prometheus Renewables, an independent infrastructure development company focused on utility-scale wind and solar projects. He is responsible for managing the firm’s operations and strategic decisions, growing and managing strategic partnerships, and project selection.
Prior to founding Prometheus, Mr. Farrell enjoyed a 12-year tenure at FGE Power, where he was responsible for renewables development, including leading the development of the FGE Goodnight wind asset, an 800MW wind asset currently operating outside Amarillo, TX, which will be the largest wind asset in ERCOT once construction is completed. Mr. Farrell was also in charge of managing operations while at FGE.
Prior to joining FGE, Mr. Farrell enjoyed a career in financial services, working in business development for buy-side investment managers.
Mr. Farrell is a 2009 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where he received his BA summa cum laude in History, writing his thesis on the role of energy markets in the creation of the European Union.
